 Manifestations. No. You manifest and manifest....and...no.

I am retired. One mth after retiring - I received a new kidney. 

So, I received a kidney in 2021. The first year was quarantine for 6 months, med issues, weight gain of 25 lbs, loss of hair, facial hair growth, shaving every day and bp still high. Next year 2022 I received prediabetes from the meds I am on. Still no weight loss. Put on Metformin and never tested until last month. Left knee is still very sore and bugging me. Now I have Osteoarthritis in that knee. My hair finally started growing but not on top. I then found I have high Testosterone - 235. Still have to shave. I then find out there is a growth on my ovary - 3 ultrasounds later they need to do a cervical cancer screening and biopsy 2023 - no cervical cancer. Sore on R ear won't heal - turns black. Needs biopsied and surgical removal.

So the checklist:

  1. 2023 - Osteroarth in my left knee and possibly in my hips (thanks high parathyroid)
  2. High testosterone - now 234
  3. Prediabetes (did lose 18 lbs on Met but no more)
  4. Atrial Fib
  5. High bp
  6. High cholesterol
  7. Possible Cancer in ovary - they want another ultrasound and surgery to remove ovary
  8. Basel cell carcinoma on ear - needs surgery to remove
  9. Stuck at 220
SO I am happy that I got my new kidney and would do it again but it looks like it is trying to kill me.

Currently for the past year and a half I have been looking for a part time job. You can only do that online. Stupid. I'm over it. Tried starting my own and of course nothing. 
My sister informed us last week that she has Frontal Temporal Lobe Dementia or FLD and possibly MS. 😭
Good news: I get to see my grandbabies every week now.💗

Fucking pain

I'm done with not sleeping,  drain pain and screwy machine.  Something needs to give.  Last night 2 hours of sleep. Separately. 1 and 1. Not even together.  It's messing with my thoughts and feelings. When is retirement? I stopped my machine at the third drain and shut it off. Couldn't take the pain.  Can't do hemo either. Not much of a quality of life.

There are actually posts out there about people stopping dialysis to die. Today I can understand why. It use to be I could not understand but now I do. This form of life saving treatment can be hard on the body for some especially the older gen and the young ones. Everyone thinks "Oh this is making you feel better, right?" Go to a dialysis clinic and talk to some of them coming out after treatment. Watch them go in and then come out. I've sat on hemo and watched many go into  cardiac arrest while doing dialysis. Scary. I know hemodialysis is so hard on the body that they say it is comparable to running from California to Michigan in 3 hours. It makes the heart work double time. For some it makes them feel better. For others it dehydrates them, overworks the heart, makes them nauseous, and really weak. Turns the brain to a 4th grade brain. I was the latter. This is why I chose to go to Peritoneal dialysis.
